Changes in your body:

Perhaps you have noticed that you sometimes lose your balance or are a little unsteady when walking? Everything is fine, this is due to the fact that the growing uterus somewhat changes your usual center of gravity. Therefore, if you still wear heels, I strongly advise you to buy good, comfortable shoes with flat, stable soles.

It is believed that during 16 – 22 weeks, a woman should feel the baby’s movements. Pregnant women for the first time usually begin to feel movements two weeks later, when they are already distinguished from other sensations in the body.

How does the baby grow?

Your baby’s bones become hard, the soft cartilaginous tissue that filled them is replaced by bone tissue. Sufficient intake of calcium and vitamin D is necessary for bone development. Nature has come up with such a way that even if you lack these substances, the baby will take the necessary amount in any case, but your bones and teeth may suffer. Therefore, remember to eat healthy, eat food rich in calcium: white cottage cheese, sesame, milk or yogurts.

The child floats freely in the amniotic fluid of the amniotic sac. By the end of the week, the volume of fluid should be sufficient to, if necessary (medical indications), perform amniocentesis without excessive harm to the baby – the study of amniotic fluid collected by puncture.
