Pregnancy calendar: 15th week of pregnancy

Pregnancy calendar by week. An experienced doctor tells how a child develops in the womb and what changes occur in the pregnant woman’s body. All the most important things about the 15th week of pregnancy

Changes in your body:

The changes in your body are mostly related to the growing uterus and the need for increased blood circulation in the organs of the pelvic cavity, to which it belongs. In this regard, you may begin to notice that your legs tend to become “heavy”, “swell”, especially when your work requires standing or sitting still for a long time. If you already had problems with veins, then pregnancy, unfortunately, will only aggravate the situation. A good solution to relieve your legs is to lie on your side, lifting your legs slightly up and placing them on comfortable pillows.

One of the best types of exercise for pregnant women is swimming in the pool. Sometimes the pool program includes special classes for pregnant women. Swimming is good for your spine and your circulatory system. While swimming, you not only train the muscles of the spine, but you can also work out special exercises for the muscles and ligaments of the pelvis.

How does the baby grow?

If you expose your tummy to the sun, then your baby can feel it. The child sees the light, but mostly hides from an unusual stimulus.

The baby can also taste the substances that got into the amniotic fluid from the mother’s blood, because there are taste receptors on the tongue and in the nose.

The amniotic fluid that got into the nose helps the child’s respiratory system to form.
